    Emily Kucukalic


    Founder & Managing Director

    Emily Kucukalic created the Brand New Group in 2009.  It is now Australia’s number one personal branding agency.

    She was the Group Head of Brand and External Relations at AGL Energy and a member of the Executive Team.  She worked across Asia Pacific for EDS and BP.  In 2017, Brand New You were awarded an Australian Marketing Institute Award for Marketing Excellence for a program that they ran with Westpac.   Emily is an Ernst and Young Entrepreneurship Prize winner, a finalist in the Telstra Young Business Woman awards in 2000 and a winner of the Lucent Technologies Leadership awards in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

    Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Marketing from the University of Western Australia. She is currently a member of the NSW Premier’s Register for Boards and Committees and was a founding Director of Conversely, a not for profit organisation focused on engaging non working women in Australia.   Conversely raised more than $100,000 for charities across Australia.

    Emily completed her thesis on Marketing to the Gay Consumer in 1995, one of the first of such academic studies conducted in this area.  She was the biggest baby in Western Australia at the time of her birth, and lost her crown shortly thereafter.

    Jo Martin


    Partner & MD of BNY New Zealand

    Jo Martin joined Brand New You as a personal branding consultant in 2009 bringing with her over 15 years experience in PR, marketing and journalism. Jo helped build the business to be Australia’s leading personal branding agency and in 2019 returned home, to open BNY in New Zealand. Jo works across all BNY’s clients providing personal branding services and is relishing the challenge of growing the New Zealand business.

    She has worked in London, Auckland and Sydney. Jo was responsible for launching several French luxury brands into the British marketplace including Longchamp, Anne Fontaine and La Maison de Chocolat; managing the launch activity and on-going marketing and public relations campaigns. Jo has experience in public relations in  the technology, banking and fashion industries in London and New Zealand with clients including SAP, Foundry Networks, the Westpac Banking Group and New Zealand Fashion Week.  .

    Jo worked as a print and broadcast journalist, as a documentary researcher and production manager for New Zealand’s leading television production company, Touchdown Productions.

    Jo has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Studies, Honours in Journalism and Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Communications. Jo topped her school in Classical Studies and English, she can actually read Olde Englishe, rustily!

    Terri Reeves


    Partner, Corporate Marketing Strategy & Consulting

    Terri Reeves commenced as a partner with BNY in 2012.  In 2018, Terri worked with Bicycle SA  as their Marketing and Communications Leader to build up her capabilities in the not for profit sector.  In 2019, she returned to the team to manage our fast growing outsourced marketing business. She develops and implements a wide range of marketing and branding strategies for our corporate clients.  Terri has deep expertise in both traditional marketing and social media campaigns.  She managed our clients Plaut and Echo Junction for five years before they were purchased by EY.

    Prior to joining BNY, Terri held the position of Head of Corporate Marketing at AGL Energy where she developed and launched the Corporate Brand. Terri was also responsible for developing the Strategic Marketing plan for the corporate business, integrating complex businesses such as Upstream Gas and Merchant Energy. Terri worked with  EDS and American Express in strategic marketing roles. She has a wide range of experience in branding, social media, external relations and PR, both in the UK and Australia.  She and Emily have a strong working relationship having worked together at EDS, AGL and BNY.

    Suzi Dougherty


    Consulting Head of Presence

    Suzi Dougherty graduated from the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, is a Founding Member of Bell Shakespeare and is an accomplished actor and writer.

    She has been helping to deliver BNY’s bespoke presence program over the last eight years with tremendous success.

    Suzi has worked with leading Australian theatres including The Sydney Theatre Company and The Melbourne Theatre Company.  She currently has a recurring role in Channel 7’s Home and Away, stars in the BBC’s The Kettering Incident,  Foxtel’s Fighting Season and soon to be released on Netflix The Unlisted and is currently filming The Gloaming for Stan.  Her film credits include The Loved Ones, The Year My Voice Broke and Love and Other Catastrophes.  She holds a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.

    Suzi went to 13 schools before she was 13.

    Georgia Lane


    Personal Brand and Marketing Consultant, Queensland

    Georgia has two decades of experience in Sales and Marketing with ANZ Wealth, Telstra, Toshiba, Skandia, Activision.  She joined the BNY team in 2019 to manage our business in Queensland.

    As an outsourced Marketing Manager, she helps clients build brands, create websites, run live webinars, project manage conferences, implement CRM’s and deliver SEO, EDM and social media marketing strategies.

    Georgia founded Women of Influence, a Not for Profit businesswomen’s networking group in QLD.  They have been delivering events since 2005, are often sold out with around 200 attendees and raise funds for their charity partners.

    Georgia and Emily first connected nearly 10 years ago when she invited Emily to be a Keynote speaker at a Women of Influence event in 2010.

    Rhys Blyth


    Marketing Co-ordinator

    Rhys is our Marketing Co-ordinator.  Rhys joined the BNY team in 2016. Rhys’ role is to support the team, running digital media campaigns and assisting in the development and implementation of a wide range of marketing and branding strategies for our clients. 

    Rhys holds a Master of Marketing from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Forensic Science from Swinburne University.

    Kylie Laudams


    Head of Design Services

    Kylie Laudams is our Head of Design Services. She joined Brand New You in 2012 and heads up all of our creative design. Kylie is our very own, gifted and talented artist and designer.

    She commenced her career at Davids Holdings (now Metcash), as an artist and then team leader. Following her time with Davids, she moved to Adcorp where she worked for ten years as a graphic designer and, ultimately, as brand guardian for their largest client, Colliers Real Estate.

    Kylie has worked across brand development and design, press advertising, signage, brochures, newsletters, magazines, research and tender documents. Kylie is a novice wakeboarder and a podcast addict.

    Ryan Furtner


    Web Designer / Developer

    Ryan has been working with Brand New You since its inception.  A talented web designer and developer, he provides these services to all of BNY’s business clients.  He specialises in creating simple, custom designs that support our clients’ brands.  In turn, he implements content management systems enabling a seamless handover of content management.

    Ryan continues to support, maintain and optimise sites once built.

    Ryan is also a licensed electrician and designs and makes bespoke leather products for his company rfleatherco.
